Find Your Paradise in the Heart of the Rockies

The Estates at Mt. Princeton is located in an area renowned for recreation year-round, just minutes from Salida, Buena Vista, and St. Elmo. Plus we're only 2.5 hours from Denver and Colorado Springs. Our region boasts the greatest concentration of 14,000-foot peaks in the country and supports numerous opportunities for world-class skiing, mountain climbing, biking, rafting, ATVs, hunting, fishing, and shopping.

Surround yourself with Colorado history by visiting St Elmo, one of the state's most preserved ghost towns. Once a thriving mining community, St Elmo now provides visitors with a true taste of the old west. Their General Store offers ATV rentals for fun days exploring abandoned mining roads in the Sawatch Range, and rustic cabin rentals are available right in town. St. Elmo is conveniently located roughly 10 miles from Mt Princeton.

Located between Salida and Leadville, Buena Vista is a popular starting point for world-class rafting, kayaking and fly-fishing on the Arkansas River. Hikers and bikers often join the Colorado Trail here, and hunters relish the opportunity to pursue sizable elk, deer and bighorn sheep herds. As part of the "Banana Belt", Buena Vista usually experiences milder temperatures than many other high-elevation communities.

Located just 15 miles from Mt Princeton, Salida is a welcoming community known as an adventure hideout and one of the nation's best small art towns. From archery to zipline tours, Salida offers something for everyone. A stroll through the tree-lined downtown area reveals century-old brick buildings, cafes, fine dining and artwork to suit every taste. Come experience the beauty of 14,000-foot peaks in a region steeped in folklore and outdoor adventures. You'll soon see why Salida is known as the "Gem of the Rockies".

Whether you're interested in cruising perfectly groomed runs, flying through fresh powder or experiencing the thrill of cat skiing, this is your place. Mt.
